Takeaways for Leaders:
Understand which hat you’re wearing at which moment. Some relationships need to be defined and balanced. For example: your pastor is your boss, your co-worker is your friend, your boss is your friend, etc.
I need you to do whatever it takes. You should never hear anyone on the team say, “That was never in my job description.” There’s a big difference between “I will” and I’m willing”.
Ask me questions and bring me possible solutions, not just problems. Don’t just identify the problem, offer a solution to the problem. Sometimes you can just fix the problem without needing to bring it up.
Be on the lookout for part 3 of this conversation on the next episode!
