Thoughts from this episode: Things to think about when you are looking into facilities: COST: Owning a building ends up being cheaper than leasing, however when you go to buy a building, you are needing more money up front. In terms of spending money, leasing makes more sense when it comes to a more temporary location. Look into the market of the area you are going to be in. LOCATION: Is the building close to where the people of the church live? Is the building easy to get to? Is the building somewhere that is known? Ensuring that there is familiarity in the area of the location. Is the building visible? SIZE OF BUILDING: You need a lot less space than you think you need. BUILDING USE/TOWN REQUIREMENTS: Connect with the city you plan on planting in. Call the town planner, and call the zoning office of the town.
