Thoughts from this episode: Being a “silo” means to work on your own project and not pull the team towards a common goal. The question is not: “are we making good content?” The question is: “are we fulfilling the vision?” Warning signs of a silo: Redundancy Lack of collaboration Misaligned priorities Don’t forget why your project impacts the big picture. Everything plays into one big picture. Ask yourself: how does my project fit into the vision as a whole? Create moments to collaboration in between departments. MISSION: Make Ideas Stay Synced Inside of One Narrative. Quotes from this episode: Always communicate the “why” before the “what.” The more you can say no to something, the more it opens you up to say yes to do the things that really matter. Always think big picture first.
