Welcome to the 110th episode of the Joshua Gagnon Leadership Podcast! If you enjoy listening to this podcast and it has helped you and your team in any way, please leave us a review on Apple Podcast or Stitcher or take the time to share it on social media. Do you have a question for Pastor Josh about leadership, ministry, or any other topic we’ve covered on the podcast so far? Submit your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or @joshgagnon on Twitter and Pastor Josh might answer it on a future episode! On this episode we discuss about volunteers and team building. Relational connections are the best way to recruit volunteers. If we are only good at the announcement part, we won’t see the outcome we want. Be specific with your communication when recruiting team members. People respond to visions and need. Make training easy and accessible to your teams. Don’t just recruit volunteers--identify leaders. Communicate standards and expectations to your team upfront. Make sure your volunteers know that they have a purpose and not just a function.
