He is a pastor at Embrace Church at 6 different locations in the Midwestern area. Growing up he never thought he would be called to ministry, but God had other plans in store for him. Takeaways for Leaders: Listen to God, listen to His words and learn who you are in Christ. He is always trying to reach out to you and to guide you. When God gives you something, instead of saying “what’s next?”, take that moment to worship Him, thank Him for what He has blessed you with. Don’t forget the Fruits of the Spirit. Everything you have you owe to God and what He has given you. Stay humble and willing to change yourself, there is always room to improve. Learn to have perspective on not sweating the small things. Be open to advice from others and be someone who is constantly wanting to learn new things. It takes time to get to where you are, and even more time to get to where you are now, to where God wants to take you. Everything is in God’s timing and not on your timing. Mentioned in this Episode: “Talking with God: What to Say When You Don't Know How to Pray.” The Conversation with Adam Weber: Quotes “What if everything takes time, and we just have to be okay in the time.” -Joshua Gagnon “The awesome God moments take time, even years to do.” -Adam Weber “You can either grow unhealthy or grow healthy, you’re never going to grow healthy doing what you’ve always done.” - Joshua Gagnon “We’re actually better at praying than we even think we are, we just need to direct it towards God.”-Adam Weber “He’s not looking for sacrifice, He’s looking for hearts.”-Adam Weber
